Art Portfolio

This year, 2023, has led me into a new form of art exploration. While I have always enjoyed art, I previously felt confined to a digital medium because of my weak hands which made it painful to sketch and color for any length of time. I ended 2022 deeply interested in light through the scientific study of optics and photonics. But, I soon realized that the most fascinating part of the study for me was the art I was able to create through the mixing of colors and bending of light. The mixing of colors led me to a deep interest in color theory where I learned about and experimented with multiple color systems. Ultimately, it was a random Christmas present my mom purchased for me to explore the mixing of colors through watercolor that sparked my interest in traditional art. In the new year, I became focused on applying my knowledge of color theory to multiple physical mediums and have currently landed on my favorite being watercolor as I love the power with which water allows me to mix and blend… I am forever on the hunt do discover the next truly novel color!

Below you can see my work from newest to oldest and visualize how this journey from digital art has become a deep passion for traditional watercolors.

Traditional Art

I’ve been exploring watercolor, acrylics, and alcohol markers to create physical art.

Optics Art

I’ve always been into things that I can’t see. For me, light was one of those things. I am using refraction and reflection in order to create art with light.

Photography

At Christmas, I got a brand new iPhone 13 Pro. Now, I use it to take pictures, mostly macro and landscapes.

Illustrations

These ERC illustrations have been created by the CEO through his self-taught design skills. Constant practice has helped improve the quality of work over time.

Op Art

We are only beginning to start creating Op Art. But, we do have one piece to show you.

Sagittarius A

Journey through a black hole and discover the secrets lying in the center.

Create with Adobe Illustrator on iPad.

Custom Fonts

These are ERC’s new custom (private) corporate typefaces. All glyphs were drawn by hand in Illustrator, and converted to Open Type Fonts using an Illustrator extension tool for font creation. ERC North is a geometric font intended for body text. ERC South is a display font intended for titles, display and slogans. Usage is limited to ERC employees at this time.

Digital Paintings

These paintings were made with digital devices using an app called Adobe Fresco over the last two years. ERC painting skills were also self-taught.
